Mullet Sessions ⭒
It’s like a house party, but with live music.
Mullet Sessions exist to provide a space for underground artists to show their skill. In local venues around Amsterdam, it seeks to create a safe space for performers and audience members alike, in its goal to celebrate music in a laid-back, accessible, and empowering way.
Whether it’s your 100th show or your first, it’s a space for those who really love and care for music to share their work with their friends—and make new ones.

Halloween Special '25
My second annual Halloween Special (say that 5 times fast) was beautiful. It knocked last year’s (also amazing) party. Doubland and Wilson A. brought only the best for everyone who came to watch, and they did not disappoint. The night was complete with fantastic costumes, a controversial costume contest result (hey, you voted! Don’t come for me!), two of the best local Dutch bands, and just overall some of the best spooky boogies I’ve ever seen.
A special thank you to the bands of course, to the Parlour for giving us the space, to Yumigudu for taking these stunning photos, and to everyone who came. I love you.
BRE
Blending old-school rap with heavy metal guitars, BRE treated us to an inside look at his upcoming album, Amsterslang.
Irish Special
The night was complete with introspective lyricism and genuine warmth from all who attended.
Animal Du & Pico de Gallo
This night was such a treat. A sold out show, the room was packed and full of energy. Friends from all walks of life came for the party that was Animal Du and Pico de Gallo. Genuinely just such a lovely way to spend a spring evening.

Halloween Special
Yeah that was so much fun. It was loud, sweaty, and gloriously spooky for my first—and definitely not last—Halloween event. Two incredible bands, a costume contest, at my favourite venue in Amsterdam… you can’t beat that. Costumes ranged from last-minute setups to hour-long group-coordinated efforts.
The Martins set the crowd up with their laid-back covers, and Wilson A., drove it home with their beloved quirk. And it all ended with a (controversial) costume contest.
This was one of my favourite events I’ve ever done.

Parlour Presents... My Mum Had a Mullet
The first Mullet Session—so early on it didn’t technically bear the name. Four bands came together and graced PARLOUR Amsterdam with their beautiful, fun, unique sound.
Rockpool Dramas opened with an acoustic set, then came Mæhila with her electro-pop set. MOMSNAME was next with their old-school rock sound, and Wilson A. closed the night with their extremely beloved crowd.
It was an extremely special night, to say the least.
